IEProgram Events
Each year, the IEProgram holds events that students, family, and friends are invited to attend. These events are available for any student in any class, and we welcome visitors to attend as well. Check back often as updates will be posted for each event when more info becomes available.
Homeschool Resource Conference
Since 2023, the IEProgram has hosted a Homeschool Resource Conference for families with teens. We bring together providers across Utah that have curriculum, resources, and funding for homeschoolers in secondary education. The event is free.
The 2025 Conference introduces a new Youth Track, which includes experiences tailored to help teens learn in an active and engaging way. There are also talks for parents to attend, which provide actionable insights for your student's education
WIDL Soapbox Conference
The WIDL Soapbox is a TED-like conference dedicated to showcasing the best speeches written by our students each year.
Every year, students submit speeches, and we select the best to be given at the conference. We invite the public to attend and hear great ideas in from fantastic speakers.
Healthy Summer
New to the summer of 2025 is Healthy Summer. Students will be able to engage in activities throughout the summer that help them stay connected with their community, foster positive relationships, and create beneficial habits.
Events are teacher-led, and friends of students are invited to participate. Each area has different activities available to students. No student is required to participate, but fun, extra-curricular activities are available for them.
