Cost: $400 (a $100 non-refundable deposit is due at registration to hold your spot)

General Registration (any IEProgram Students): Opens February 2, 2026
If all spots are filled, you may add your name to a waitlist without paying the deposit.
If a non-English student registers before the correct time, their name will be removed from the list, and they will not be added to the waitlist.

Deep-dive discussions following each performance
Seminars on Hamlet & costumes (provided by the UtahShakespearean Festival)
Greenshow entertainment
Shopping at gift shops
Private pool party
Art museum
Hike (alternative activity provided as well)
Accommodations
We’ll be staying all together in this amazing house.
Students will sleep in single beds, double beds, or on couches or foam/camping pads on the floor.
Girls and boys sleep on separate floors.
All food and transportation is provided. (Dietary restrictions can be accommodated.)

Summer Shakespeare FAQ
How old does my student have to be?
Students must be 14 by the first day of the trip, July 14.
How many chaperones will there be?
6
What are the sleeping arrangements?
The home has beds for 22. Students will sleep in twin or queen-size beds, on couches, or on foam mats/sleeping mats on the floor. Girls and boys will sleep on separate levels.
What if my student has dietary restrictions?
Options will be available for gluten free and dairy free. Students with more complicated restrictions may want to bring their own food.
Are cell phones allowed?
Yes, but not at the plays. Use of cell phones will be discouraged even while at the home so we can be present with each other.
How much does it cost?
$400 per student
What is included in the price?
All meals, accommodations, private pool, tickets to three plays, educational seminars, Greenshow, gas for the drivers, Cedar Breaks entrance fee, t-shirt
Who is allowed to go?
Priority will be given to registered IEProgram English students. If there is still space, other IEProgram students will be offered a spot in the order they got on the waitlist.
What about transportation to Cedar City?
Meet at the Provo FrontRunner station. Students coming from north of Provo may choose to ride the train and meet everyone there. Teachers/parents will drive vans and caravan to Cedar City.
Can my child travel separately to Cedar City?
No. Everyone must meet at the Provo Frontrunner station and travel to Cedar City together.
When does registration open?
Priority registration (given to students in the English Program) will open January 26, 2026.
Registration for all other IEProgram students will open February 2, 2026.
Is the deposit refundable?
No
Can my family join the group separately?
No. In order to ensure the quality of the experience, we do not meet up with outside families or coordinate itineraries.
