Funding & Accreditation
We are frequently asked if there are programs that allow families to fund and accredit the classes their student takes with the Independent Education Program. While the IEProgram neither endorses nor partners with any funding or accreditation programs directly, many of our families have been able to find success with the options listed on this page.
We are not experts for any of these options, and we cannot guarantee any outcomes by using these options. Please research the options thoroughly and make your own decisions.
Funding
The following are some of the programs that many of our families in Utah have found success in using to fund tuition for their students taking IEProgram classes. Funding requirements differ by program and sometimes change over the years.
- Utah Fits All Scholarship
- OpenEd (formerly My Tech High)
- Harmony Education
- Leadership Academy of Utah (LAU)
- Canyon Grove Academy Hybrid Highschool
- Children First Education Fund (Scholarships for students with disabilities)
Accreditation
The following are some options that offer high school credit for taking classes with the IEProgram. The IEProgram neither guarantees accreditation nor endorses any of these programs, and each program may have different requirements to receive credit.
- Canyon Grove Academy Hybrid Highschool
- NARHS (North Atlantic Regional High School)
- Alta Independent Online High School
